CD1a - Langerhans cell histiocytosis

CD2 - T cell marker (although CD3 is more common), marker of systemic mastocytosis

CD3 - most specific T cell antibody; diminished expression in T cell cutaneous lymphoma

CD4 classify lymphomas and inflammatory conditions; serum levels are marker of HIV
disease progression and response to therapy (CD4+ cells are killed by HIV); serum levels also increased by transient stress

CD5 marker for CLL, mantle cell lymphoma, T cells (normal and malignant), thymic carcinoma

CD6 Antibodies to CD6 are used to deplete T cells from bone marrow transplants to prevent graft versus host disease

CD8 cytotoxic T cell marker CD10 = CALLA Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL): Angioimmunoblastic T cell lymphoma:
Breast: marker of myoepithelial cells
Burkitt’s lymphoma:

CD11c histiocytic marker, NK cell marker, diagnosis of hairy cell leukemia (with other markers)

CD13 myeloid marker

CD14 mature monocytes/macrophages

CD15 Hodgkin’s lymphoma

CD16a NK cell and macrophage marker; to subtype leukemia/lymphoma

CD19 Earliest B cell antigen in fetal tissue


CD20 commonly used marker for B cells
